Well I'll keep this short, even though it was supposed to be a 10 minute a day thing. I got news from my friend K who'll be my boss that I'll likely be getting the contract this Friday, and then start work come April 1st.
Not sure if it's a joke or not (hurhur) but suddenly it feels like all the free time that I had for stuff like Coursera courses are running out soon. Damn. Makes me wanna head to the library and park my ass and do the courses I signed up for for hours. Legit.
That said, April 1st was when I enlisted for the army many years back. It's also the birthday of my good friend. It's also April Fools Day. And the Significant Other is gonna get new accounts at work. Sounds like a day of many events huh haha.
Hope I don't get pranked on that day. In any case, starting work on a Friday isn't that bad. I hope. Well, I pray that the job will be a meaningful and fulfilling one and something I can adapt to quickly and well. In any case, I'm thankful for that piece of good news :) With a job, many things can start running again, and at least my parents, especially my mother, wouldn't be so worried about her jobless son.
Gotta keep the continuous learning going, to prevent such things from happening again. If *touch wood* something like this happens again, then maybe I'll do a mid-career switch and become a physiotherapist or something. At least the medical industry is healthy.
